AIR Madikeri organised Radio Kisan Day in collaboration with Extensin Unit,UAHS on 15/02/2018 at Extension Unit of University of Agricultural & Horticultural Science,Shivamogaa,Madikeri.M Raghavendra ,ADP,AIR Madikeri presided programme. The Radio Kisan Day 2018 is on seminar on Doubling of Farmers Income by 2022.Dr. T H Gowda, Director-Extension Unit.,UAHS inaugurated the function by watering the plants and also with Raitha Geethe. Sri. Mundanda C Naanaiah,District Development Officer,NABARD,KODAGU,Dr. I N Doreyappa Gowda,Principal Scientist and Head,CHES,Chettalli,Dr. Raghupathi N Kenchareddy,Head,Extension Unit,UAHS,Madikeri, Dr. K V Veerendrakumar and DR. Mandepanda Kaveri Deaviah, Young Scientist were present in this functin and given useful tips on Doubling the income of farmers by 2022.We also had two state awardee of Krishi Panditha viz. Mandira Tejas Naanaiah and Somengada C Thimmaiah. We felicitated them with showl and fruit bouquet.
