Take home the Art you make! Immerse yourself in the ‘World of Pottery’ at ArtDesh Gallery

Mumbai, 22nd March 2018: There’s nothing quite fulfilling than creating something with your own hands. Making an art piece is the nicest thing one can do on the weekends! Workshops make us explore the artist which is hidden inside hence, to bring that artist out, ArtDesh Gallery at Walkeshwar is hosting a Pottery Workshop. Here you can learn something new and probably discover a fantastic hobby. This summer, professional pottery artists Nikhil Sunka & Reena Vaishnav Naik will demystify the craft for you by giving you a hands-on experience to the world of pottery. You do not need to be creative or even have an artistic bones, just one thing needed is ‘keen interest’.

Your session will start with hand building techniques; where one will learn to mould the clay into anything you can imagine. And once you learn the basic technique, instructor will guide you for the second part to experience - The pottery wheel. With plenty of clay to play with, instructor will guide you to learn how to shape the wet clay into figures like, Small Bowl, Mugs, Idols, or something useful for the house. Everything you make in the session is yours to take home.

The session is of 3 hours, starts at 11am till 2pm on 24^th and 25 March 2018 at ArtDesh Gallery, Walkeshwar, Mumbai.

Along with this, one can register themselves for the Landscape Paintings workshop to be held on 7^th April 2018 at ArtDesh Gallery.
