Witness Enrique, Ozzy Osbourne, Jason Derulo, The Scorpions, Ziggy Marley and Ringo Starr live in Israel
The concert line-up for Israel this spring/summer is filling up fast, making a well-timed trip to Israel even more enjoyable. So don’t forget to block the date on the calendar to watch your favorite artist perform in Israel.
Some of the artists performing are:
1. Enrique Iglesias – 27th May
King of Latin pop Enrique Iglesias will play his fifth concert in Israel at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park. Iglesias last performed in Israel in 2015, and before that in June 2011 – both times at the Menorah Mivtachim Arena.
2. Ringo Starr - 23rd June & 24th June
Recently knighted by the Queen of England, Beatles’ star, Ringo Starr will perform in Israel after 52 years. The Israel concerts will be part of a 21-day European tour and will take place in Tel Aviv on June 23 and June 24 at Menorah Mivtahim Arena. Legendary former drummer of the Beatles Ringo Starr will be accompanied by Steve Lukather of Toto, Greg Rollie of Journey and Graham Gouldman of 10cc.
3. Ozzy Osbourne – 8th July
Heavy metal music star Ozzy Osbourne has scheduled one performance for July 8 in Rishon LeZion’s Live Park where he will perform music from his half-century career as part of his Farewell Tour. Ozzy and his family became stars of the MTV reality sitcom called The Osbournes which was a video journal of their life in an LA mansion.
4. The Scorpions – 19th July
One of the most successful heavy metal band of all times, is returning to Israel as part of their “Crazy World Tour” to perform at Tel Aviv’s Menora Mivtachim Arena on July 19. The German band who started rocking the world in the 1960s, have played from heavy metal to hard rock, with their most successful hits being “Wind of Change,” “Still Loving You” and “Rock you like a Hurricane.” They have sold more than 75 million records worldwide.
5. Ziggy Marley - 31st July & 1st Aug
Bob Marley’s eldest child, Grammy-award winning artist, Ziggy Marley will give two concerts this summer on July 31 and August 1st in Israel. The concerts, both in more intimate settings, are slated to be a celebration of the Caribbean beat that offer messages of peace and joy.
6. Jason Derulo and Rita Ora – 1st August
Two of the biggest names in pop and R&B music, will take to the stage at the Rishon LeZion Live Park on August 1 as part of the first ever Lollipop Summer Festival. Derulo, best known for his songs “Talk Dirty,” “Wiggle,” “Ridin’ Solo” and “In My Head,” has sold more than 30 million singles over his decade-long career, and collaborated with Demi Lovato, Pitbull, Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez. Rita Ora, a British singer and actress and judge on The Voice and The X Factor in the UK, has hit the top of the UK charts with “How We Do (Party),” “R.I.P.” and “I Will Never Let You Down”. Earlier this year she released “For You” with Liam Payne, which has already been viewed almost 100 million times on YouTube.
