On 18.11.19, during the Technical committee Review meetings AIR and DD bag two awards namely
ABU Green Broadcast Engineering Award to All India Radio
And Best Article Award , Case Studies to Mr MS Duhan from Doordarshan.
Ms Anuradha Agarwal ADG(Tech) received both the awards on behalf of the winners. Prasar Bharati gave presentation on following agenda items in ABU Programme committee meeting held in ABU General Assembly and Associated meetings in Tokyo on 18.11.2019 :
A. Report on ABU International Dance festival conducted by Doordarshan in March 2019 in Delhi
B . Flagships programme of AIR and DD in last one year.
C. Gender Equality campaign in India
