Highest recognition for project management profession across industries in the country
Mumbai, March 01, 2017: Project Management Institute (PMI) India, the world's leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project management profession, has announced nominations for ‘PMI India Awards 2017.’ The awards are the highest recognition for the project management profession in the country.
PMI India Awards Program is well recognized by Industry, Government and project practitioners as the most prestigious award for the project management community in India. It provides tremendous media exposure across various media channels for the winning organization. Besides great visibility, it is a fitting acknowledgement to the organization for their valuable contribution to the project management community and profession.
The PMI Awards 2017, has been divded in five categories that recognizes and honours a project team that has delivered superior results through exemplary application of project management principles.
1. Project of the year – Contribution to the Community
2. Project of the year – NGO
3. Category Large - A project or program or similar initiative which has actual project cost of more than INR 1,000 crores
4. Category Medium - A project or program or similar initiative which has actual project cost between INR 100 to INR 1,000 crores
5. Category Small - A project or program or similar initiative which has actual project cost less than INR 100 crores but more than five crores
PMI India awards 2017 nominations are from across industries for projects that are completed between the period, April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017. Each category will have maximum of one winner and one runner- up who will be identified out of the nominations received. The winners will be announced at the Project Management National Conference, India 2017, in September. The last date for receiving nominations is April 17, 2017.
