Ahead of the release of the highly anticipated Edgar Wright-directed film Baby Driver (in theaterstomorrowJune 28) and with the official soundtrack album out now, award-winning producer and artist Danger Mouse has premiered the music video for “Chase Me,” his new original song featuring Run The Jewels and Big Boi. Go behind the wheel with Baby and see Danger Mouse, Run The Jewels and Big Boi in the action packed video directed by Andrew Donoho .
“Chase Me” continues to garner critical acclaim. Rolling Stone notes the song is “…packed with plenty of vivid bad-boy braggadocio” while Fader calls it “fiery”. The guest features on the song make for the perfect film tie in, as both Killer Mike of Run the Jewels and Big Boi have small but memorable appearances in Baby Driver. “Chase Me” samples “Bellbottoms” by Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and features additional production from Run The Jewels El-P.
Music From The Motion Picture Baby Driver, the 30-song soundtrack for Edgar Wright’s heavily anticipated, music-laden film is out tomorrow, June 23 via Danger Mouse’s 30th Century Records and Columbia Records.
Written and directed by Edgar Wright, Baby Driver tells the story of Baby, a talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway.
