Akashvani Recreation club organised farewell function to Smt. Sulochana Hullallli, Programme Executive, Smt. Lalitha Sathyamurhty, Sr. Announcer, CBS and Sri. M. J. Perumal, MD-Gr. I in All India Radio Bengaluru consequent on retirment on superannuation of their service on 31st July 2019. 
Sulochana Hullalli joined as Transmission Exectuive at Doordarshan Kendra, Bengaluru during 1985. She was transferred from Doordarshan Kendra to All India Radio Bengaluru during 2005. She was promoted as Programme Executive during 1997. She has served in the organisation for more than 34 years. She has bagged Gandhian Philosophy award during 2002 on National level and children programme - choral singing award. She produced number of radio series and Doordarshan programmes. 
Lalitha Satyamurhty joined as Announcer Grade II in All India Radio Bhadravathi during 1989. Then, she was transferred to CBS Bengaluru. She completed 30 years of service in All India Radio. She is always telling "My listeners are like family, I may be reaching out through radio but I speak as individual with listeners". Sri. M. J. Perumal joined All India Radio, Bengaluru as Motor Driver during October 1988. He is punctual in his duty always.
All the programmers are working enthusiastically in this Organisation with sweet, soothing and melodious voice said Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyaya, ADG-SR I&II in his presidential address. Neha Swamy, DDG(E), G.K. Raveendrakumar, ADP/HOP and Dr. D. Padmavathi, ADP, CRD presided over the function and wished peaceful retirement life to all. Programme compared by S. S. Cholin and vote of thanks by Akashavani Recreation club secretary H. N. Gopinath. All the staff members participated in the function. After the function sweets distributed.
