Electrifying SFL action leaves actor-singer Sophie Choudry captivated as Mumbai beat Bengaluru

SFL honours Paramveer Chakra recipient Capt. Vikram Bartra’s parents at Fight Night 
New Delhi, February 11, 2017: Super Fight League, the world’s first mixed martial arts league saw Mumbai Maniacs get the better of Bengaluru Tigers with a victory margin of 18-9 on 11th February 2017. Mumbai are now in the driver’s seat as Goa Pirates will go up against Gujarat Warriors on 12th February 2017. We await an electrifying final league match in Group B as we reach the knockout stage.
The thrilling fixture which was a must win match for the Maniacs, ensured some exhilarating attacks throughout the bouts.
The Super Fight League fraternity led by founder and owner Bill Dosanjh honored Paramveer Chakra recipient Capt. Vikram Bartra’s parents. Capt. Vikram fought the Kargil war and made India a proud nation with the famous tag line "Dil Maange More". The entire stadium was on their feet as a sign of respect and gratitude
Bollywood actor Aashish Chaudhary and Krishna Shroff were also present to witness live action.

In a do-or-die match on 12th February 2017, Jacqueline Fernandez’s Goa Pirates will take on Intex’s Gujarat Warriors. A win for the Pirates would ensure a place in the semi-finals.

Last weekend, Tiger Shroff, the co-owner of Bengaluru Tigers showed off some of the key martial arts moves while Govinda in his Mumbaiya style mesmerized the audience with famous yesteryears dialogues. Salim-Sulaiman who had earlier performed at the opening ceremony on January 20th 2017 was also present to support their team UP Nawabs. Bollywood celebrities Ajay Devgn, Salim & Sulaiman and Randeep Hooda who co-own Super Fight League teams Mumbai Maniacs, UP Nawabs and Haryana Sultans respectively have come out in support of their teams during the league.
  2. Former Cricket Captain Mohammad Azharuddin and India’s First Formula One Motor Racing Driver Narain Karthikeyan have also witnessed the raw adrenaline of Mixed Martial Arts at the inaugural season of Super Fight League.
