Mumbai, 5th August 2017: Fortis Hospital Mulund celebrated 15 years of completion with a congregation of over 100 doctors’ themed “Doctors of Substance” at the Hyatt Regency. The Doctors were honored for their selfless contribution to the society and their spouses for their unconditional support. Marking this occasion Ace Designer Archana Kochhar joined hands with Fortis Hospital, Mulund, to raise funds for their project AASHA, which will assist in conducting 100 free pediatric heart surgeries, through “THE ARCHANA KOCHHAR SHOW”.

The 15th year celebration evening unfurled with Designer Archana Kochhar showcasing her new bridal and couture collection. She also launched her new line of Pashmina shawls, which was sported by all the doctors while they took to ramp. Bollywood Actress Zarine Khan looked ethereal in a Blue Gota work Lehenga, as she walked for Designer Archana Kochhar unveiling her new Bridal collection. Actress Sangeeta Bijlani looked resplendent in a burgundy gown Sari as the showstopper for Designer Archana Kochhar to support this social cause. Singer duo Sukriti and Prakriti Kakkar, Singer Dhwani Bhanushali and Singer Shibani Kashyap made the audience groove to their enthralling chartbusters. At the landmark occasion of 15years completion, Mr Bhavdeep Singh, CEO, Fortis Healthcare, Mr Raj Gore, COO-South & West, Fortis Healthcare and Dr S. Narayani, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital, Mulund & Kalyan took to stage with the doctors. With the legacy of 15yrs of patient centricity and pioneering clinical excellence, Fortis Mulund is the only hospital in Mumbai to be JCI accredited, 4 times in a row. Medical teams at the hospital have conducted free surgeries on underprivileged children to correct congenital heart defects, through Project Aasha.

“Bridal Shringar” the new bridal collection draws its inspiration from the enchanted episodes of a bride’s journey through her marriage, from getting resdy to walking down the isle in her glee and rouge makes her reminisce each and every moment of her enchanted tales. The collection is a fuse of Indian Bridal contemporary silhouettes ranging from draped lehengas, asymmetrical jacket lehengas, conventional lehengas and fish cut lehengas. The colour palette boasts of soft pallets of pastel peach, yellow, green and blue, plump maroon, reds and hot pink with a hint of gold to complete the essence of an Indian wedding.
“Gown affair” is inspired by a White wedding ceremony of a bride to be exuberating the magical mist and moment of a bride in her white wedding gown with all her bridesmaid standing he her for her big day. The collection opens with a range of evening gowns with unique cuts and silhouettes ranging from ruffles, keyholes, zipper detailing , capes, trails, fishcuts and layering set in a pallet of deep reds, classic blacks and dreamlike whites.
“Salsa Sway” is inspired by the dance form salsa itself. The collection consists of different layers and ruffles of this art form, flirty sways and swings. The silhouettes are a mix of Indian contemporary ranging from ruffle gowns, saree gowns and lehengas with cold shoulder blouses, delicate drapes and asymmetrical Jackets. The color palate that runs through this collection includes midnight blue offset with moonlit grey, shades of emerald green offset with antique gold and plush pink offset with plump maroon tones. The embroideries of this collection are of three mixtures, 3D embroidered flowers with grey Zardozi and Swarovski highlights, gold zardozi with metal cutouts and 3D gold crystalline scale textured embroidery.
