Independence Day celebration at AIR, Raichur

India is celebrating the 71st Independence day today. On this occasion, Sri. M. A. Sudarshan, Head of Office has hoisted the tricolor flag at AIR, Raichur campus and said various our great leaders sacrificed their lives in attaining the freedom for their future generations without worrying about their comfort, rest and freedom. They planned and acted upon various independence movements including violent and nonviolent resistance to get complete freedom. It is our duty to build our nation for next generation in good and healthy condition.

Gandhiji was a poineer of truth and non-violence. He stasrted the satyagraha(non-violence) movement for the Indian freedom struggle. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was poineer of Indian constitution. They played a very significant role in achieving Independence for India from British rule and developed democratic country. Today, ie. 15th August, AIR Raichur honored both and remembered their service
