The hit Spanish track ‘Mi Gente’ by the popular Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin is breaking records and is here to take over music streaming platforms. The global hit after reaching #1 on Spotify Global top 50, has recently made its way to the 2nd spot on Shazam India’s top 100. The track has been garnering some extremely positive attention and has been making it to the top of charts worldwide.
The all-Spanish track has achieved and gathered so much attention just four weeks post its release. The song is produced by French producer/songwriter Willy William who also happens to feature in the song. Apart from the rising success in the track is witnessing in India, the track has replaced ‘Despacito’ to atop the Spotify Global Top 50 chart. According to the leading music platform Billboard, ‘Mi Gente’ has crossed over 4.3 million streams on Tuesday and is the first all-Spanish song to top the Global Top 50 chart.
