Be it Independence Day, Father's Day or Friendship's day , these Red Letter Days or Special Days celebrated in any part of the country are giving filmmakers a boost to make appealing short format content. Filmmakers especially in India are exploring such days to make an impact and emotional connect with the audience. Ever since digital medium has been explored to its full capacity , filmmakers ( independent or commercial) are investing more in short format. Many brands stick to this pattern of Red - Letter Day to promote their product and to maintain a high recall value.
With this reference , I would like to explore a story / interview opportunity with the independent film maker Krishan Hooda who made a film on Friendship's Day. If given a chance, Krishan would like to talk about his films, independent cinema, and his views on Red Letter Days.
If interested please kindly let me know.
