Mallika Sherawat was invited to Amsterdam by the Dutch Organization Free A Girl to visit their headquarters and talk about the issue of sexual exploitation of children & human trafficking. Mallika Sherawat also features in the documentary Free a Girl which was shot in Mumbai.
She says, "I believe that there is a need to change the conversation, to mobilise society to rally behind the girls that have fallen victim to this crime, and to demand justice. It is important to break the silence in many countries about child prostitution and the need to prosecute the offenders. Now it's time for action."
