The third Foundation Day of Regional News Unit was celebrated at AIR, Sambalpur campus on 23rd January, 2019. The function was chaired by Shri M.R.K.Rao, Head of Office. Shri S.N.Pattnaik, AD(News) welcomed the guests of the evening and AIR parivar of Sambalpur. On this occasion Shri J.R.Munda, Head of Programme, Shri B.K.Majhi, Retd. Dy. Director and Consultant of RNU, Shri Hemanta Kumar Mohapatra, Shiba Nanda, Priyaranjan Babu all senior journalists spoke for betterment of the Regional News. Shri Manoj Pujari, PEX, Sri Santosh Ping, PEX and Shri Kshetramani Bibhar, Secretary, Akashvani Recreation Club also took part in the discussion and put up their valuable views on broadcast of regional news. A cultural programme was arranged to mark the occasion. In the end Sri Gagan Bihari Kalo, AO offered vote of thanks. It is worthwhile to mention that RNU at AIR, Sambalpur was commissioned on 23rd January, 2016. This function was arranged with wholehearted support of RNU members and AIR staff.
