Under the aegis of All India Radio, Cuttack being the capital station in the state of Odisha AIR, Sambalpur have the opportunity to hold the Regional Coordination Committee meeting this time today i.e., 21st August, 2019. Apart from the host station, Station Director, AIR, Cuttack, Programme Heads of AIR, Jeypore, Baripada, Berhampur, Bhawanipatna, Bolangir, Rourkela, Puri, Joranda, Keonjhar, CBS, Cuttack attended the meeting. Shri Ashok Gupta, Addl. Director General(Comm.), Prasar Bharati, New Delhi and Smt.Neena Sinha Sarkar, Asst. Director(Programme), O/O ADG-P(ER) grace the occasion. The meeting was chaired by Shri Suhas Mohanty, SD, AIR, Cuttack. Shri Gupta, ADG(Comm.) reviewed the revenue earnings of stations during last five years and enlightened the Programme Officers how to augment commercials. At the outset Shri Jayaram Munda, Head of Programme, AIR, Sambalpur welcomed all the distinguished members and Shri M.R.K.Rao, Head of Office offered key-note address. Shri S.N.Pattnaik, Asst. Director(News), RNU and other programme personnel of the station were also present in the meeting. At the end, Shri Abhaya Kumar Dash, Secretary, RPCC offered vote of thanks.
