AIR FM LRS Dharmapuri celebrated the International Women's Day on 08/03/2020. Only Women CCAS' Performed duty in all the three transmissions. Songs rendered women singers alone was broadcast throughout the day.However a Special Programme anchored by women anchors was broadcast for MEN asking them about their MOTHER the lady who gave birth to them. Tremendous response from listeners.
At a function to mark this day an interactive session by the women announcers with Smt.Lakshmi Inspector of Police, Harur was arranged and the same was broadcast at 8 pm as PESUM PENMAI (Womanhood Speaks) on various issues pertaining to the safety of women.
A Live Programme for College girls was also broadcast at 11 am.
All the programmes were co-ordinated by Shri.R.Murali, Head of Programmes.
