Sh. P.D. Saxena Joined All India Radio in 1963 at Broadcasting House New Delhi. He served various stations and offices of AIR including Radio Kashmir Srinagar, Chief Engineer(North Zone), P& D unit, DG AIR. He had long and distinguished stints in Estimates and Monitoring & Coordination section of P&D Unit. He superannuated as Dy.Director(Engg.)from the office of Chief Engineer(North Zone) .
He left for his heavenly abode on 25th Jan 2017. He is survived by his wife, one son and two daughters and a grand daughter. His cremation ceremony was also attended by his former colleagues viz S/S A.K.Agrawal, J. N. Sharma, R.S.Sharma, Gopal Gupta amongst others.
