The Music Run by Fastrack Makes Waves, marks the day the Ultimate 5k Running & Music Festival Came To Town

More than 8000 people showed up in full force to run, dance and party together at The Music Run by Fastrack in Bangalore today. Held at Clarks Exotica Convention, Resort & Spa, runners experienced the world’s most vibrant 5K running course, known as ‘The Sound Track.’ A seamless blend of music and fitness, the event was a true representation of what Fastrack stands for - energy, excitement and self-expression. Over 120 speakers pumped out the most popular songs voted by participants across 5 interactive and music themed zones – rock, pop, old school, hip hop and dance. Fastrack received huge waves of entries for a first of its kind service, #Bookmyshoulder where concert goers booked a shoulder to get a better view of the performances on stage. The adult ball pit and life size beer pong was just as much in demand, with the customized tunnel night club experience and foam run being the highlight of the Fastrack Dance Zone, in the last kilometer of The Sound Track.
The festivities kicked off with performances from Best Kept Secret, DJ Shann and pre-run Zumba workout by Shwetambari Shetty and ended with the ultimate after-run music festival with a lively performance by DJ Zaeden, dancers, laser lights, LED screens, chill out zones, giveaways and plenty more. Bengaluru is one of over 15 cities across three continents that The Music Run™ was introduced to in 2017, making it one of the fastest growing fun run events of its kind worldwide.
