Shri Shukdev Das Shashtri who joined this organisation as Programme Executive at All India Radio, and served at AIR Ambikapur, AIR Shahdol, AIR Jaipur, AIR Guwahati, AIR Udaipur, AIR Port Blair, expired at an old age home near Haridwar on 20th of December 2020. Both at personal and professional life Shri Shashtri had a turbulent life. He was a fine scholar, and had a thorough knowledge of Vedas and the Upanishads. He was a scholar of Philosophy and Sanskrit. His Doctorate thesis was entitled "प्रामाण्यवाद समीक्षा". Apart from this he had a couple of publications under his name, these included both poetry and prose. May his soul rest in eternal Peace."
