72nd Republic day was celebrated with Great Spirit and gaiety in AIR Pune. The National Flag was unfurled by Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar, DDG(E) & Head of Office. Shri. Gopal Autee, Deputy Director (P) and Head of Prog. Section, Shri. Nitin Kelkar Asstt. Director (News), Shri. Yewale, Account Officer and other senior officers were present at Studio end. It was followed by National Anthem. Staff members from all wings like engineering, programme, administration were participated with enthusiasm. This year due to Covid Pandemic very few retired employees participated in the ceremony. At AIR Pune cleanliness drive is going on. To pay respect to sweepers, they were honoured to perform puja of Tricolour. During the speeches Shri. Bhatnagarji, Shri. Auteeji and Shri. Kelkarji appeal the gathering not to forget the struggle of freedom that our forefathers took part in. Moreover, it is a day to celebrate the spirit of freedom and make sure to help India reach greater heights in the future.
Smt. Chitralekha Kulkarni, Asst. Director (E) unfurled the Tricolour at HPT Hadapsar, Pune. It was followed by National Anthem. Smt. Kulkarni made brief speech on the importance of the Republic Day. Her speech made a great impression on staff members.
During these celebrations social distancing was maintained. No sweets, snacks and tea were distributed.
