With profound grief it is to inform that Shri.Peri Viswanatham,DDG(E)(Rtd.) passed away on 24-12-2020 at his residence in Hyderabad. Shri.Viswanatham was born on 26-01-1946.After Graduating in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, he got selected for I(B)ES service and joined as ASE on 06-01-1967. He worked in various capacities in AIR stations of Shimla, Goa, Parbhani, Aurangabad, Bombay, Vijayawada, Jeypore - Odisha, Hyderabad and retired as Superintending Engineer at AIR, Kadapa on 31-01-2006.
In the long span of his career ranging to 39 years, he contributed all his might in serving the department in various managerial capacities. His Technical aptitude, humane attitude and enthusiastic inclination to learn advancements in technological arena stand exemplary forever. His decorum in official and personal life too are remembered for long. He was a fellow at Broadcast Engineers' Society and was relentlessly involved in its activity at BES, Hyderabad Chapter.
