Creative genius Rob builds a massive installation ‘SPREAD SMILES’ in Bangalore to spread happiness and positivity!

DIY expert and Sony Music artist Rob was in Bangalore creating an installation 20 ft high made of 3000 paper cups along with kids from Greenwood High, Bannerghatta. These paper cups were filled in with pairs of socks which the school kids at the end of the session donated to NGO kids (Ananya Trust & Need Base India) to beat the winters in Bangalore. The other objective of “Spread Smiles’ was to spread positivity in the wake of all the recent negative occurrences in the city. Therefore, when all the socks were removed and donated from the cups, an image of a smiling girl is revealed which is made out of the same paper cups of different colours.
Commenting on the same Rob said, “The Greenwood High kids are so experimental and creative and eager to learn, and their attitude motivated me throughout my time with them. Bangalore is a beautiful city that houses beautiful people and we wanted to spread cheer and goodwill through our Art.”
The school kids also made paper planes with the Indian flag on them and also painted the cups along with Rob. The NGO kids who were invited were extremely thrilled and had a great time interacting with Rob. The entire video of the activity will be released by Sony Music India on Republic Day, on Mad Stuff with Rob, the most creative DIY destination on YouTube.
