Where Eagles Dare Entertainment’s first production called Brunie goes on the floors next month. Billed as India’s first dogomance, the film traces the love story between Brunie and Kalu, two pariah dogs who go on to change the mindsets of the humans around them. While Brunie and Kalu have already been cast, the filmmakers are now looking to cast the humans in the film, and the auditions for the same are in progress at the moment.
Brunie has been produced by Suraj Chitre and Uday Athavale and is being directed by Suraj Chitre. Suneet Vats will be the Director of Photography for the film which is being choreographed by veteran Naimesh Bramhabhatt.
Two important people in the crew are dog trainers Joseph and Selvis who have a history of training dogs without any stress to the animals. The music of the film has been given by Sukumar Datta, a former Pritam associate who has just composed a title track for the Hollywood film Passengers. Also among the composers are Ameya Shildhankar and Vinay Katoch while the lyrics have been written by Tarun Bisht.
Brunie has been conceptualised by Tejpal Wagh while the screenplay and dialogues have been written by Suraj Chitre.
Saikat Baghban is the creative producer of Brunie.
