Guru Purnima is an Indian festival celebrated in the honor of teachers, and dedicated to divine and hypothetical teachers. The festival mainly celebrated to pay their greetings to their teachers and express the gratitude. It is celebrated on the full moon day aka Purnima in the month of ‘Ashadh’ falls in (June-July). The Word “Guru” in Sanskrit is explained as “dispeller of darkness” hence the Guru disperses the darkness of inexperience and leads the hopefuls on the path to explanation. On the eve, our telly celeb thanks their teachers.
