General Informations
Normally in Goa within two days you can visit the famous places by taxi/tourist buses. Tourist buses (App. charges 250/-per day) will pick up the inmates from Holiday Home gate. The buses to North Goa /South Goa trips in a day are available separately. You can visit places such as Calangute beach, Anjuna Beach, St.Francis Xavier Church, Big foot Art Gallery, Colva Beach, Mahalasa Temple, Shantadurga temple, Mangeshi temple,River ,Cruise Mandovi etc..
Nearest Railway station: - Madgaon/Vasco/Karmali (All train stops at Madgaon in konkan rail route).
The holiday home is 35 km away from Madgaon railway station. Prepaid taxis (app Rs. 1000/-) are available from there to Holiday Home.
Buses to Holiday Home: Kadamba bus stand is 5km away from Madgaon railway station. Auto (Rs.120/-), Pilot Motor Cycles (Rs.100/-) charges to bus stand.
From Madgaon Kadamba stand,non stop shuttle buses to Panaji are available (Rs.40/-).
Get down at Goa Medical College Hospital (GMC) , Bambolim.
From GMC gate, you get pilot (Rs.40/-), Auto (in day) or take a Doanapaula route bus to All India radio Quarters (Rs.10/-).
Holiday Home is in the campus of HPT AIR Residential Quarters.

Kadamba Bus stand, Panaji: - It is 8km away from Holiday Home. Kadamba Volvo buses to Mumbai/Pune/ /Bangalore/Shirdi are available. APSRTC/KSRTC/MSRTC buses are also available in addition to that Private Volvo tourist buses to different location Mumbai/ Pune / Kozhikode/ Bangalore / Hyderabad etc..
Best time to visit: - The best time to visit Goa is from late October to early April. The peak tourist season is from mid-December to mid- January when the weather is pleasant, the day time temperatures rarely goes beyond 33°C. Be sure to book the accommodation well in advance during the peak time. The rain descends upon Goa during the month of June to September.
