“Filmmaking is something that has no boundaries when it comes to language. There is so much of wonderful cinema here in the south that as a board member I really wish to get the unique and extraordinary stories that people make and help showcase it on a platform like MAMI. My major aim will be to bridge the gap between the national language cinema and the regional language cinema. Be it Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada or Tamil cinema, some of the best independent films are made in these languages and it will be my main focus to make such work be noticed on a national platform.”
Rana wears many hats, successfully. He is a distributor, producer, visual effects
producer
and of course an actor. Rana belongs to one the most powerful film families from South India
