Mr. Rithik Ramesh, (S/o Shri S RAMESH, Technician ALL INDIA RADIO Chennai) who is studying in 11th standard of Kendriya Vidyalaya Ashoknagar Chennai selected for Junior air Riflel National Squad shooters. In First ever Khelo India 2018 held at New Delhi for under 17 age group, he has won silver medal for 10 meter air rifle event for which central government will provide 5 Lakhs per annum financial assistance for 8 years under Khelo India. He has won 3 gold medal in 43rd Tamilnadu state shooting championship held at Chennai during July 2017. He all together has won 12 gold medals and 06 silver medals and 08 bronze medals in various competition held at national level, state level and school level shooting competition. He won gold medal in 10meter rifle shooting organised by School Game Federation of India (SGFI) national School Games 2015-16 held at Madhyapradesh. For his achievement The Late chief minister of Tamilnadu J Jayalalitha awarded him 4 Lakhs Cash Award.
It's a matter of pride for Prasar Bharati Parivar and it showers it's blessings on his bright son.
