Zee TV’s primetime show, Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre, with its plot that is an Indian interpretation of the popular fable ‘Beauty and the Beast’ has captured audience attention. Set in the small town of Sujangarh, the story follows the family feud between the Chauhans and the Rajawats and depicts beautiful Devi’s (Yesha Rughani) journey of gradually converting the brutish, ruthless beast Adhiraj (Kapur Suri) into the husband of her dreams. As their journey progresses, the show is set to unfold some major drama in Devi’s life as her long-lost college friend Virat re-enters her life. Sahil Uppal will be seen making a comeback on the small screen as Virat in the show .
Virat is visiting his home town Sujangarh to attend Adhiraj and Devi’s wedding festivities. Adhiraj misunderstands Virat to be Devi’s boyfriend leading to a rift between the couple. With Virat’s entry in Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre, audiences will be in for a treat as a series of unexpected twists and turns will not only affect Devi and Adhiraj’s relationship but also make it easier for Hira (Roopa Divatia) to separate them.
Speaking about his entry in the show, actor Sahil Uppal said, “Virat is a simple and easy-going guy who is excited to meet his college best friend, Devi, after a very long time and is looking forward to spending some time with her. But his entry during Adhiraj and Devi’s wedding festivities will create a lot of drama which will cause problems in Devi’s relationship with her husband. I relate with Virat’s character because I am a lot like him in real life. The cast and crew, especially Yesha and Krrip have been very welcoming and shooting with them has been a lot of fun. I hope that the audiences will enjoy watching Virat’s stint on the show!”
Will Adhiraj accept Devi and Virat’s friendship? Does Virat have any hidden motives?
