AIR Panaji (Goa) celebrated 57th anniversary of its Primary Channel which is popularly known as Mhadei Channel on 9th January 2019.Shri.D.K.Sudame, Deputy Director (E) & Head of Office, Shri.Siddhartha Meshram, Assistant Director (Programme) & Head of Programme, Shri.Vinay G.Khedekar, Assistant Director (E) and Shri. Subodh Kamat, Assistant Director (E) HPT, AIR Bambolim graced the occasion.
On this occasion, a music concert was organized in which Samrandni Shelar and Sonik Velingkar (Both "B High" Grade Artists) performed in front of invited audience in the AIR, auditorium. Samrandni Shelar presented 4 Natygeet from popular Marathi stage plays and Sonik Velingkar played Raag Gavati on flute. Later, he presented a short Aaalap followed by 2 Gats. Both the performances were appreciated by the audience.
A birthday cake of Mhadei Channel was cut to celebrate the anniversary. The entire programme was anchored by Smt. Charushila Desai (Staff Announcer).
