A.Malleswara Rao, A.D (P) retires on super annuation from AIR Vijaywada
Joined All India Radio as Programme Executive Direct as recruitee by UPSC in 1988. First place of posting was at AIR, Kadapa (A.P) with Academic Qualification M.A (Hindi Lang. & Literature) P.G Dip. In Journalism and Professional Qualification like NSD Delhi theatre trainee and later acquired degrees like M.C.J P.G.Dip in Yoga Vijnan etc. Free Verse Poetry writing as Hobby.
An ardent listener of Radio from Childhood nurtured the wish to join AIR and had the luck of (performing) discharging duties with passion for more than 28 years
Developed special interest in broadcast like Interviews, Radio Drama, O.B.Coverages (including Live/Running Commentaries), Novel reading/presentation, Discussion formats.
Participated in ABU General Assembly held at New Delhi and presented a paper on Local Radio Station. Took special initiation for producing programmes on state net work and contribution to National Net work.
Had the privilege of covering Afro Asian Games, National Games, World Congress onDisaster Management National Conference of M.Ps and Speakers of Legislative Assemblies.
Acquired Professional Traits by attending number of in house trainings. Served so far Air stations like Tirupathi and Visakhapatnam and presently attaining superannuation at All India Radio, Vijayawada. As A.D (P) / Head of Office happy to be instrumental in starting AIR, Vijayawada on DTH Platform recently.
