Mumbai, January 31, 2017: Lokmat, Maharashtra’s and Goa’s Number 1 newspaper hosted the first edition of Cotton King presents Lokmat’s Maharashtra Most Stylish Awards to honour stylish icons from various walks of life in Maharashtra. This award honored the most stylish people in Maharashtra and highlighted the style of the state that has left an indelible mark for generations to come. Presenting Partner of the event - Cotton King, Progress Partner - Bhartiya Vikas Group and Associate partner - Club Sirkus & Goodwin Jewelers, Radio Partner - Red FM, Outdoor Partner – Bright Outdoor, Cinema Advertising Partner – Khushi and Telecast Partner – Colors Marathi.
The evening witnessed a star studded gathering of celebrities and corporates alike. Some of the prominent names who gave away awards included Mahesh Manjrekar, Rishi Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Pallavi Joshi, Sonali Kulkarni, Shreyas Talpade, Sai Tamhankar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Gulshan Grover, Dino Morea amongst others. A colourful dance performance by Phulwa Khamkar presented style over generations.
Renowned Singer Shalmali Kholgade entertained the audience with her melodious songs while Bollywood Actor Hrithik Roshan revealed his style secret during a chat. Renowned actress Radhika Apte shared her experiences of being a part of an off - beat cinema and Sonam Kapoor shared her thoughts on working on a serious movie like Neerja that changed her career. Tiger Shroff showcased his dance moves and Ajinkya Rahane spoke about his style inspirations.
