Annual Cultural Function and Gayatri Yagna organised at DD Staff Colony, Bhubaneswar

The Annual Cultural Function was organised at Doordarshan Staff Colony, Bhubaneswar during 13-15 January'2017. Kalasha Yatra for Gayatri Jagna was held on 13th January in which more than 50 housewives of the staff took part. Gayatri Yagna was held on 14th January, on the auspicious day of Makara Sankranti. Thousands of devotees including staff of Doordarshan, AIR, NABM, CCW and retired employees of Doordarshan and their family members attended the function and joined the Prasad Sewan. In the evening, cultural Programme was organised in which Chorus, Play and Bhajan Sandhya were presented. On 15th January, Solo Song, dance were performed by children of the Colony and prizes were given to the winners of different competitions held like drawing and painting, badminton, blowing of conch etc.
