Latika Gill, who's a parallel lead in Nivedita Basu's upcoming show Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi, is an avid pet lover! 8 months back, when Latika decided to do something adorable for her close friend and roommate Meenu Panchal, she decided to adopt a pet dog. Even though the initial plan was to get a cat, the moment they entered the shop and saw a dog, they fell in love with him. They named him Poker Gill Panchal!
The duo take turns to take care of Poker and are extremely responsible parents! Recently, Meenu had to go out of town and Latika too was shooting 12 hours a day for Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi.
Torn between leaving Poker at home and missing shoot, Latika decided to get baby Poker on the sets. Everyone knows how dogs and their nature can be therapeutic for the stressed people! The calm, composed yet excited Poker was happy to be around so many talented and joyful people.
Being friendly and photogenic, Poker got clicked by the entire cast of Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi and had a gala day! On being asked, Latika says "Raising a pet is a huge responsibility and not everyone can manage it. Especially being an actor, you spend 12-15 hours out of home. In such a case, the pet gets neglected! Meenu and I make sure that no matter what, Poker gets the right amount of attention from us."
