Delhi & Mumbai, 12th August 2017 : BookASmile (BAS), the charity initiative of India’s largest online entertainment ticketing platform BookMyShow, in collaboration with Round Table India(RTI) today organized screenings at PVR , Cinepolis Bhopal for the movie Toilet- Ek Prem Katha for 13,626 kids from lesser fortunate background Building toilets is one of the focal points of improving our country’s sanitation standards. The motive to showcase this movie was to inculcate right hygiene habits in kids. RTI also shares the vision our Prime Minister, ‘To make India open Defecation Free.’

12 अगस्त 2017 : भारत के सबसे बड़े ऑनलाइन एंटरटेनमेंट टिकटिंग प्लैटफॉर्म बुक माई शो के चैरिटी इनीशिएटव बुक ए स्माइल (बीएएस) ने राउंड टेबल इंडिया (आरटीआई) के सहयोग से आज मूलभूत सुविधाओं से वंचित समाज के कम सौभाग्यशाली वर्गों के 13,626 बच्चों के लिए देश भर में “टॉयलेट : एक प्रेम कथा” की स्क्रीनिंग की व्यवस्था की।हमारे देश में सफाई के मानकों को सुधारने के लिए टॉयलेट बनवाना आज प्रमुख मुद्दों में से एक बन गया है। बच्चों को यह फिल्म दिखाने का मकसद उसमें स्वच्छता और साफ-सफाई की अच्छी आदत डालना है। आरटीआई भारत को खुले में शौच से मुक्त कराने के हमारे प्रधानमंत्री के विजन को साझा करता है।
राउंड टेबल इंडिया के अध्यक्ष क्रिस्टोफर अराविंथ ने कहा, “हम इस पहल के लिए बुक ए स्माइल के साथ कार्य कर बहुत प्रसन्न है। फिल्म की स्क्रीनिंग काफी सफल रही। फिल्म ने हमारे देश में साफ-सफाई और स्वच्छता के प्रति और अधिक जागरूकता फैलाने में मदद की। हम ऐसे कई मुद्दों से बेसब्री से जुड़ने की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं, जो हमारे समाज में साफ-सफाई और स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने में मदद करे।“
बुक ए स्माइल की हेड फरजाना कामा बालपेंडे ने कहा, “फिल्में प्रेरणा लेने का बहुत बड़ा और अच्छा साधन बन सकती है। समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों में गंभीर सामाजिक मुद्दों के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने में फिल्में एक बड़ी भूमिका निभा सकती है। इसी मकसद से हमने 16 हजार से ज्यादा बच्चों को “टॉयलेट : एक प्रेम कथा” दिखाने ले जाने का फैसला किया। इनमें से मूलभूत सुविधाओं से वंचित समाज के कम सौभाग्यशाली 13,626 बच्चों को राउंड टेबल इंडिया (आरटीआई) ने अपने संसाधनों से एकत्रित किया। इस फिल्म को देखने जाने की वजह से बच्चों को एक दिन की परफेक्ट आउटिंग पर जाने और मनोरंजन का मौका मिला। ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण हमारी यह उम्मीद है कि अपने संयुक्त प्रयासों से हम बच्चों के दिलो-दिमाग में लंबे समय तक रहने वाली सकारात्मक छाप छोड़ने में सक्षम हुए।
