India Film Project has segments such as Poster Redesign Compete in association with The Souled Store, Script writing competition in association with Terribly Tiny Tales, 50 Hour Film making, and the latest addition is The Best of Digital category.
The Best of Digital category is where participants can submit their already created work such as short films, music videos, ads and brand films, corporate videos, food and travel videos, wedding and celebration videos, animation and motion graphics, web sketches and web series .Best of Digital awards bestows a chance to the content creators to compete with the best ones on the web. This is the first time the best in digital category has been introduced at India Film Project. Currently, there are no other awards and recognitions for digital videos in India.
The following types of digital content can participate in India Film Project 2017:
· Short Films: Live your dream of showing your short film to a huge audience and a coveted jury and bag an assignment to work with a brand.
· Music Videos: Music videos are the eye-catchers of web, and millions of music videos out there have been adding zing to peppy numbers. Many of us engage in producing music videos, covers for our friends or as a part of our professional engagements.
· Ads, Brand Films, Corporate Films: Brand films are a re-invention of storytelling which creates a unique growth opportunity for organizations. Make a film, tell a story, and define a brand. You will have the opportunity to submit a brand film or a corporate film or an advertisement that you have made for your clients.
· Animated Videos & Motion Graphics: Show off your skills at animations and motion graphics by submitting your animation or a motion graphic at IFP, take on other animators and have a crack at getting your film screened at the festival.
· Food & Travel Videos: Have a hidden chef in you? Want to dazzle the world with your culinary skills? Make some lip smacking food, recreate some recipes with a twist and create a snack-sized film while you’re at it. Go ahead and submit all the videos you made throughout the year and get a shot at getting them showcased. Send in travel videos that you have made about those untamed mountains, the deep blue oceans or those dense forests. Bring in anything that you have shot related to travelling and adventure during this year
· Wedding & Celebration Videos: Captured those lovely moments of pre-wedding shoots? Made wedding lip-dubs, lip-sync to the latest peppy Bollywood songs and groove to their beats? Gather those energetic and fun-fueled moments from celebrations that you have captured.
· Web Sketches & Web series: Have an interest for making short sketches for the internet? Have topics you love to discuss via small acts over the internet? Submit your work at IFP7, compete against the best and get a chance to get showcased and take home the trophy.
