AIR Bengaluru brodcasted Special Programme "YOUNG INDIA - FREEDOM RHYTHMS 2019".



AIR Bengaluru has planned to broadcast several programmes on the occasion of 73 rd Independence Day. In a Special Programme"YOUNG INDIA - FREEDOM RHYTHMS 2019", young and upcoming artists are encouraged by providing an authentic platform to portray their talents.



"YOUNG INDIA - FREEDOM RHYTHMS 2019" was a unique program broadcasted live before invited audience at the studios of AIR Bengaluru from 10 am to 11am presented by the members of Anireekshita Troupe. This troupe has gained popularity in India and abroad as well by their music renditions. They were selected to represent AIR at ABU Radio festival - 2018 at Kazakhstan arranged by Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union. The artists of the troupe were Siddarth Belemannu,Vishak  Ramprasad,Roopak Kallurkar,Pranavdath,Naveena H.S. and Shashank Jodidar. This special programme was broadcasted live all over Karnataka on MW 612 KHz, on Raagam 24x7, FM Rainbow and Amruthavarshini. The live broadcast started with a devotional song "Gajamukhane" by Vyasarayaru. This was followed by an enthralling Fusion Music "Anireekshitha". Then a patriotic song "Geludaniya gudagudisi", which was followed by a famous romantic song by Da.Ra.Bendre "Naanu badavi". Next was Prandaradasa's "Summaniru manave" followed by a melodious Hori "Khelath hai Giridhar Murari". The compere for the programme was our announcer Smt. Nirmala S.



All the traditional and patriotic songs were composed and presented with a novel approach and was well received and appreciated by the invited audience in the studios as well as our ardent listeners from across the State of Karnataka.
