Supermodel turned actress Dipannita Sharma who impressed one and all with her acting chops in films like 18 December.Ladies Vs Ricky Bhel, Jodi Breakers among others will be receiving the prestigious 'Best Actress in the New Age cinema’ award for her recently released film 'Coffee With D' at the 10th Global Film Festival held in Noida, at the Asian academy of Film and TV (AAFT).
Dipannita is overwhelmed by the response she’s been getting for ‘Coffee with D’ from critics and audiences especially since it was her first tryst with the Comedy genre. 'Coffe With D' is also available on Netflix.
Commenting on the same, Dipannita says " Coffee with D was my first experience with comedy and to get such recognition only boosts my confidence to be a part of such films. I always try to take up new things and I‘m honoured to receive the award."
The award ceremony will be held on 12th November in New Delhi.
