MHAARI RE MANGETAR IS BACK WITH A NEW TWIST FROM AUSTRALIA, MIDDLE EAST AND THE EARTHY TOUCH OF MAATI- BAANI!

Mumbai, 18th January 2016- Musical Duo Maati Baani is all set to release their new version of the most loved folk song “ Mhaari Re Mangeter’ The world music band are now presenting a brand new fresh perspective to folk genre with the song- in collaboration with Middle Eastern native Aala Wardi and two Australian Musicians- Linsey Pollak and Zaia Kendall.
Maati Baani has already created a space for itself in the music genre with its spectacular pieces and now they are here to reign our hearts through a folk song with an international spin.
This catchy tune is surely going to be a part of any Wedding playlist.  ‘Mhaari Re Mangetar’ is a Rajasthani folk song with a funky twist brought together with musical influences from different countries. The foot-tapping number features vocals from popular a capella artiste, singer and producer Alaa Wardi from the Middle East alongside percussionist Zaia and music maverick Linsey who has also used a rubber glove to create music for the song.
A lifelong dream collaboration, the upbeat track by talented duos - Kartik Shah and Nirali Kartik showcases the traditional tune with a fresh perspective.
