On 26th January 2017, after celebration of 68th Republic Day, all staff members of AIR Pune and retired employees present for flag hoisting gathered in Auditorium. PPT showing various events organized during year 2016 -17 by AIR Pune was featured on screen. Everybody was eager to know who would be declared best 'Employee of the Month'. Shri. Ravindra Khasnis Asst. Director (Prog.) and Head of Prog. came on dais and announced the name of Smt. Pratima Kulkarni, Sr. Announcer. In his speech he said "Smt. Kulkarni laid the foundation of Sponsor prog. "Vangatha'. This programme is broadcasted on AIR Pune 'A' channel. Earlier she looked after the busiest commercial service section with full dedication. She used her experience and never committed mistake in this prestigious section. At present she is working on programmes 'Shet Shiwar' and 'Ratnahar'. For Engineering section Smt. Sangeeta Upadhye Asst. Director (Engg) announced Shri. Sanjeev Naik's name as 'Best employee of the month'. Recently 18 Ton and 27 Ton A.C. Plants are replaced by 11 Ton package units (4 nos.) and 17 Ton package units (4 nos.). Even though installation and commissioning had been carried out by company's representatives, Mr. Naik and his team coordinated this work efficiently. He supervised the dismantling of old A.C. plants, installation and testing of new plants etc. At present he is working as CWC coordinator and looking after electrical and civil maintenance of AIR Pune's installations and staff colony. His dedication towards work is highly appreciated. Shri. Bhausaheb Pagare (Sr. A.O.) announced Shri. Raju Kakde as 'Best Employee of the Month' from Administration and Accounts section. At present Shri. Kakde is given the charge of Caretaker and Transport coordinator. Shri Pagare told that AIR Pune is one of the clean and decent offices in India. He appreciated shri. Kakde and given the credit of developing lawn and garden in office premises. Earlier he was casher for three years and proved his ability. Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar presented Memento to Smt. Kulkarni, Shri. Kelkar, Asst. Director News section presented Memento to Shri. Naik and Shri. Khasnis presented Memento to Shri. Kakde. This ceremony was hosted by Shri. Pravin Kulkarni. He entertain the audience with crispy and humorous comparing.
