Embracing Technology - Akashvani Pune celebrates its Foundation Day with online Family Event




Akashvani Pune Parivar celebrated the Foundation Day of the station on 2nd October 2020 by organising a lively programme on Webex. The programme was anchored by Shri A.K. Hebbalkar, EA with support of Shri R.K. Ranjekar, AE & Chairman Akashvani Pune Parivar (Club). The evnt was dedicated to the memory of Sagar Raut, Helper who, was an indispesable part of such events held in Auditorium but expired tragically at an early age last November. Shri Hebbalkar also remembered Shri Prakash Savarkar, former Announcer, Shri S.R. Meshram, former SD, Shri Ramesh Gulani former staff artist, who left for their heavenly abode during last year. The programme started with a beautiful recitation of Ganesh Vandana by Shri Dnyaneshwar Bagade, a talended MTS of AIR Pune. 

A photography competition on the theme – "Nature" got encouraging response from the staff and their family members with 1st, 2nd and 3rd saw winners as Suvarna Bhatnagar, Sharad Desai and Deoram Nangare. The Painting / Sketching competition coordinated by Shri Santosh Patange, SEA provided a platform for showcasing the creative art of our family members. The winners of this competition (1st, 2nd and 3rd ) were Mukta Shendge, Prasad Kulkarni andKartiki Sharad Desai. In an interesting online session Smt. Bindu Nair, Steno with Smt. Medha Kulkarni, UDC interacted with many family members of Akashvani Pune Parivar and told about their out of box creative and positive activities. Shri Vijay Yeole, AO coordinated poetry competition (Self written) which saw Ravindra Ranjekar, Dhananjaya Patwardhan and Devaki Kulkarni emerge as winners. (1st, 2nd and 3rd ). 

In his brief speech Shri Ashish Bhatnagar, DDG and HOO Akashvani Pune reminded the parivar members of the great and delicate responsibilities of maintaining the high standards of Akashvani which have been established and nurtured by our preceders (Retired members) by their dedicated hardwork and called upon all the members to keep giving out their best for the organisation and the nation. He asked children of Akashvani Pune parivar to come forward and consider contributing something significant for the organisation, JISKA NAMAK KHAKAR WO BADE HUE HAIN. He invited them to exclusively interact with him on an online platform in near future. 

A special attraction of the event was Vishesh Varta Patra (Special News Bulletin) presented by Shri Nilesh Ghatole, Technician, AIR Pune which was highly entertaining. Shri Sanjay Bhujbal Announcer presented selected bytes about what the listeners of Akashvani Pune have to say about us. (Akashvani ke prati Man ki Baat). As a mark of respect to the elders, Shri R.K. Ranjekar interacted with elderly parents (above 80 years) of staff members and sought their blessings for the organisation. In his brief speech Shri Gopal Autee, DDP stated that Akashvani Pune Parivar has come upto the expectations during the Covid -19 challange and praised all, particularly shift duty staff for their work. 

The webex meeting was scheduled and conducted by Shri Hemant Ramteke, LDC.The meeting ended with a group song "Itni Shakti Hume Dena Data" by all participating members.
