Mpower presents GenM – a music concert to create more champions of mental healt Mumbai, November 10, 2017: Bollywood music sensation, Arijit Singh is lending his soulful voice for the GenM Music Concert by Mpower to create awareness and alleviate stigma around mental health illnesses. Scheduled to perform LIVE in Mumbai on Sunday, November 12, 2017, the reigning king of Bollywood music is excited to be associated with this cause. GenM by Mpower aims to be a music concert for young people and a platform to engage in meaningful dialogue on mental health, in a fun and relatable way.
Speaking about his association with the GenM music concert, Arijit said, “I'm extremely thrilled to be a part of this initiative by Mrs. Neerja Birla, Ms. Ananya Birla and their team at Mpower. With everything happening in the world right now, I believe that we all need to come together and stand up for causes that truly affect us. Every voice matters and I'm lending mine too. The brainchild of Mrs. Neerja Birla and Ms. Ananya Birla, Mpower aims to be the movement to affect change and proactively champion mental health causes, create awareness, advocate prevention and provide services with a professional, holistic and multi-disciplinary approach. With Arijit being the flagbearer of the movement for this annual property, leaders from the entertainment, business and sport domains are expected to be present for the concert and lend their support to the cause.
