On Sunday, April 1, the Brooklyn Nets will celebrate India Day when they host the Detroit Pistons at Barclays Center at6 p.m. The evening,in partnership with ExcelIndia, will include elements that celebrate Indian heritage and culture.
The celebration will begin at noon with a pregame Bollywood Dance Competition. The top two teams in this competition will perform again later in the day, with the first place team performing at halftime, and the second place team performing thirty minutes prior to tipoff.
During the game, the Brooklynettes will perform a Bollywood themed dance routine that was choreographed byChandniNavodita, a Bollywood actress and choreographer.
