Shri.M.G.Vedamurthy,Programme Executuive All India Radio Chitradurga is going to retire on 31.05.2019 on Superannuation. He has joined this organization on 25.05.1991 as Farm Radio Reporter at AIR,Gulbarga and he has served at Air,Bhadravathi, AIR Dharwad and Chitradurga. He was promoted as Programme Executive on 25.02.2005. He has served in the organization for more than 28 years. While he was on duty has produced several Radio series like Jalanayana Siri, Magu Nee Nagu, Gokula Vani, Koodi Baalona, Krushi Samruddhi, Kathe Mugidilla, Krushi Maarukatte, Negila Miditha and several series on Health issue. Among those produced by Sri.M.G.Vedamurthy the series Negila Miditha is being b'cast over four AIR Stations such as Mangaluru,Madikeri,Bhadravathi and Chitradurga since 2015 and is still on air. And which is sponosored by University of Agriculture and Horticulture sciences,Shivamogga covering seven districts of the University Jurisdiction.. He has brought enough revenue to the Organization through sponsorship. In his headship All India Radio Has taken up Swatchatha Abhiyana trying to create awareness about cleanliness among the people living around AIR, Chitradurga involving local NGO's.
