10 KW FM Transmitter for Vividh Bharati services of AIR,Panaji,Goa was commissioned on 18.6.2019.The programme was held in Maquinez Palace,ESG,Auditorium,Old GMC Precinct ,Panaji Goa at 6.00 pm onwards .The programme was followed by a cultural programme preformed by "A Goan Goff Folk Dance and Orchestra ,Omkar Melodies,Ponda" which was live from 1815 Hrs on 101.1 MHz Vividh Bharati FM Transmitter,828 KHz M.W till 1900 Hrs, as well as on Mhadei Channel of ,AIR, Panaji 1287KHz till 1920 Hrs.The programme comparing was done by Mrs Usha Naiok and Mr Saish Deshpande, which was heavily appreciated. The audience was enthralled by the programmes.
The lamp lighting ceremony of commissioning of FM Transmitter for Vividh Bharati services of ,AIR Panaji,Goa was done at the hands of Chief Guest, Shri.Neeraj Agarwal, ADG (P), (WR I & II). Shri.C.K.Omprakash,DDG(E),HPT, Shri Devidas Sudame, Head of office, Siddhartha Meshram Head of Programme and Shri.V.G.Khedekar,AD(E) were also present on this auspicious occasion.
In the inaugural address, Shri.Neeraj Agarwal, ADG (P), AIR (WZ) wished all the best to the staff of AIR and he said, now onwards, the radio listeners of Goa will be able to listen to one of the most popular service of All India Radio- Vividh Bharati Services, on mobile phone, car stereos with utmost clarity.
