Indian star Manasvi, who was majorly instrumental in Donald Trump’s win in the US Presidential election campaign, in the USA, catalyzing Hindu and Indian Americans to lend their unwavering support to the newly elected President of the United States, headlined the biggest performance at Trump's Inaugural Welcome Celebrations , which was held at the Lincoln Memorial.
The live event was played out in front of an audience of up to 800,000 people and was telecasted live to over 2 billion viewers.
While over thousands of organizations applied to be part of the celebration, only an approximate 30 were finally selected -one of which was the Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) an American organization dedicated to provide a single unified platform for 4.2 million Hindu Americans to have a respected voice on the policy tables in US, India and all over the world, and strengthen relationship between USA and India.
Manasvi’s father Mr. Shalabh Kumar, Chairman of AVG Group of companies is the chairman of the RHC and the two together campaigned for Trump in the USA and even launched the ‘Ab ki baar Trump Sarkaar’ campaign, reaching out to Hindu and Indian Americans, causing a major shift in this demographic to vote for Republicans. Top Trump campaign officials have acknowledged the contribution of RHC and Manasvi towards this win that have sent shock waves throughout the world. Manasvi is RHC India Ambassador.
Hence it comes as no surprise that Manasvi was a major part of the celebrations at Trump's Inaugural Welcome Celebrations that also saw guest appearance from a top Bollywood singing sensation, Mika. Apart from being one of the highest guests of honor, Manasvi also performed to a medley of the biggest blockbuster Bollywood songs including Kaala Chashma, Jumme Ki Raat, Dhoom Machale, Jai Ho among others.
Manasvi was seen earnestly rehearsing for the high-energy performance in the USA with the rest of the crew few days prior to the event. Dignitaries like Shri Shri Ravi Shankar and many prominent industrialists from India were a part of these ceremonies along with Manasvi.
With the aim of catalyzing and bettering relationships between India and the USA, Manasvi will now be part of 11 inauguration ceremonies starting Jan 18th, 2017.
Manasvi was dressed in a heady mix of haute couture gowns by Ken Ferns and Gauri Nainika and contemporary Indian pieces by Manav Gangwani and Tarun Tahiliani, styled by Swapnil Shinde.
