RABM Thiruvananthapuram Workshop on ?Art of Interviewing?

A three day workshop on "Art of Interviewing" was conducted by RABM(P), Ahmedabad in co-ordination with RABM(P), Thiruvananthapuram from 19th December2017 (Tuesday) to 21st December 2017 (Thursday). The venue was RABM(P), Thiruvananthapuram.

The workshop was inaugurated by Shri.R.Vimalasenan Nair, Station Director, All India Radio, Thiruvananthapuram. Shri.Radhakrishnan.S, AD(P), RABM(P), Thiruvananthapuram, Shri.K.M.Narendran, AD(P), RABM(P), Ahmedabad, Smt.Lekha Gopal, PEX, RABM(P), Thiruvananthapuram, Shri.Jayaraman, Steno, RABM(P), Ahmedabad were present in the inaugural session along with 29 participants from the zone of both the academies.

Interviews for Radio in various media contexts, celebrity interviews and interviews with important personalities, research and preparations for interviews for Visual and Audio media, pitching for interviews and the art of conversation were the important topics covered during the three days. Shri.T.P.Sreenivasan IFS, Former Indian Ambassador shared his experiences at the diplomatic sphere, on being interviewed. Shri.K.M.Narendran, AD(P), RABM(P), Ahmedabad was the course facilitator and also handled the topics - Literary interviews, Gender Justice in Work Places, various practical exercises and group discussions. Shri.Jose Jude Mathew, AD(P), DDK, Delhi, Shri.Unnikrishanan Unnithan, AD(P), AIR, Thiruvananthapuram, Shri.K.Pradeep, Asst. Editor, The Hindu were the other visiting faculties.
