Mumbai, 27th December 2017: Dr. Aijaz Ashai recently organized Indian Railway's Kabbadi Girls program which was a sports specific training program developed by him and his team of experts in collaboration with Apollo Spectra Sports Physiotherapy department.
Dr. Aijaz Ashai is an expert in the field of advanced physiotherapy. Born in the Kashmir Valley, and graduated in Physiotherapy from the National Institute for the Orthopedically Handicapped, Kolkata; Dr. Ashai in a short span of time has become a renowned name in the field of advanced physiotherapy. He is consulted worldwide for his proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, prevention and treatment of sports injuries, physical fitness training and weight loss.
Dr. Ashai’s expertise is highly sought after in the sports world. He was the Head Physiotherapist for the celebrity cricket league (Mumbai heroes), Pro Kabaddi League(Bengal Warriors), Indian Rugby Team, the West Zone Deodar Cricket Team and the Chairman of Auxiliary committee of Indian Association of Physiotherapy. He is the Head of Department of Physiotherapy at Apollo Spectra Hospital, Mumbai. He also runs his own fitness and sports rehabilitation center in Mumbai.
