Shri Bhagirathi Mishra, ADP, AIR Cuttack is going to retire on superannuation today i.e. 31-08-2018 after completing 30 years of service at AIR. Born on 19th August 1958 he got his education in M.A and M.Phil in English and then P.G. Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication. He Served as Lecturer in English in different Colleges in Odisha from 1980 to 1988 for around 8 years. He is also writing Odia Poetry and articles on Odia Peotry since 1980 and publishing them in different magazines of Odisha. He has attended various state & national level poetry Symposium organised by Odisha Sahitya Akademi & other leading literary organisations. He is also Honoured with Jhankar Award (1982) for his poetry, Hirakhanda Award (1983) for his series of articles on contemporary Odia poetry, Adi Kavi Sahitya Samman (2016) and Gyanada Kavita Samman (2016) and honoured by many other literary organizations for his contribution to Odia poetry.
