Happy to share AIR Mumbai team organised an Invited Audience Programme in its auditorium., entitled पु. ल. - शतश: धन्यवाद !This was to celebrate Broadcasting Day .
The concert unfolded various aspects of literature, cinema, plays, music and other creations of renowned Marathi writer P. L. Deshpande, who was also associated with Akashvani and Doordarshan. It included rounds of panel discussion, audio tracks of phone bytes and songs, speeches and live performances.Noted writer and presenter Ambarish Mishra, noted theatre personality Vijay Kenkare, noted Marathi writer having keen research and written books on P L Deshpande - Mangala Godbole, and noted vocalist Shruti Sadolikar, noted drama artist Jayant Sawarkar graced the programme by their live participation on stage.Phone bytes of noted cartoonist S D Phadnis, well known director Dr Jabbar Patel, noted actor Dilip Prabhavalkar, world famous scientist Dr Jayant Naralikar enriched the content.
The programme received an overwhelming response from the audience - with the auditorium full to the capacity with quite a few having to sit on the carpet!Audience was enthralled through the discussions, live performances & audio bytes in the program.
Over all it was a very very satisfying experience for all of us at AIR Mumbai.We thank AIR Pune, for making some of the Pu La recordings available.
