Respected ADG (E ) SZ Sri Thyagarajan ji has given the following msg to the staff working for AIR & DD under him. He met the staff at AIR Bhadravathi with DDG E DSM SZ Geetharani ji and DE Sri Natarajan R. The event was attended by the HOO Sri Vimalan ji with other staff members
Following is the text of his speech
" I'm immensely happy to address you from AIR Bhadravathi, one of the oldest stations of India, on the occasion of Indian Broadcasting Day.
We all should understand that we are here for *Service* not for *convenience* . We have to gain knowledge each day, take the example of a tree which sheds old leaves but grows up with new leaves, share your technical knowledge to all, flourish, get over the technical obsolescence. We often come across challenges, we get two choices before us, that is *Resist or Adopt*
We will perish if we resist, we will manage if we adopt. Therefore it's important to grow together with the organisation and grow ourselves.
When PC came we thought it will reduce our importance, but it never happened, when high end smartphones came we thought PCs are gone, but fact of the matter is that we have grown up, we need more of them, they have created more job opportunities.
Don't look anything with myopic view, develop the skills, train yourself take up the challenge and go forward to serve the institution.
I Congratulate all my subordinates on this day, my best wishes to you, your family and your friends, remain healthy and stay happy"...
